Marty Rifkin’s website: www.MartyRifkin.com  alittle bit about Marty: Marty Rifkin is a highly-respected multi-instrumentalist and producer, who has a knack for composing that memorable riff or interlude that can define a song. The tasteful mixes and subtle balances achieved on Tales of the New West were the result of Marty’s production of the final master. He plays pedal steel, acoustic and electric guitar, dobro, and numerous other instruments. Marty has recorded with such notable artists as Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Jewel, Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakam, and many others. As a producer, Marty owns and operates the successful Rifkin Productions in Santa Monica, California. A sampling of his many clients includes Smokey Robinson, Hal David, and Rita Coolidge.

Then Christopher Nielson joined our band and a short time after that Jeffrey Steale joined the band for a short time.. What a great group of guys!!!..  Alittle Trivia… Dennis, Russ and Sam were all related to the GREAT Tex Williams “Smoke, Smoke, Smoke That Cigarette”..  Nephews and Son in Law..

Tex became Capitol Records first million seller and can also be heard during the opening scenes of the 2005 movie, Thank You For Smoking.  Russ Paul has performed on the same stage as artists including Jo Dee Messina, Terri Clark, Ted Nugent and of course his Uncle Tex. With Russ Paul’s heart felt influences from his uncle Tex; Russ Paul’s passion for playing guitar blurs the line between Country, Blues, Rock and Southern Rock.
